Wind Turbine climber kit with Helix Harness
The WTG Climbers Safety kit is a complete off-the-shelf kit designed specifically for technicians who are required to work within wind turbine generators. The kit incorporates the multi-featured Helix full body harness with integrated work positioning belt. Highly adjustable, able to fit a broad range of sizes from petite to large, with 9 separate points of adjustment. Suitable for all genders, with a fully adjustable rear design allowing upper and lower aspects to be adjusted independently. Front chest and leg adjustments also complement this and the waist has two lateral adjustments to ensure the harness fits symmetrically and exceptionally well for extended use. Sliding leg comfort pads enable ideal positioning. Textile chest loops are highly visible for easy of location in emergencies, and low profile to align webbing and reduce bulk, ensuring a precise fit for maximum comfort and security. The rear attachment point is designed and positioned at nape of neck to eliminate discomfort when climbing WTG interior ladders. This also ensures more vertical orientation of casualty when being lowered during rescue and minimises interference with ladder rungs. The DUON climbers helmet chin strap anchorage complies with EN12942 release requirements. This complete kit contains everything needed to climb and work in the wind industry (except for the vertical fall arrest traveller which is specific to each WTG).
